On 15^thof April 2009, “Danube Logistics” SRL and SE “Aeroportul International Chisinau” signed a co-operation agreement. The collaboration between the two companies aims to offer time and cost efficient logistic solutions to Moldovan and international companies, involving both air and sea cargo transportation.

SE “Aeroportul International Chisinau” is the operator of ChisinauAirport has a strategic location, at the junction between the commercial roads of Asia and Europe. Its adequate location and excellent transport networking turns the Airport into an ideal start spot for tourist and business trips. At the present moment, from Chisinau International Airport, there are 3 national and 11 international airlines operating theirs flights into 22 directions.

On 4^th of June, “Danube Logistics” SRL, the owner and operator of Giurgiulesti International Free Port (GIFP), and the Italian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement. The collaboration between two companies aims to a reciprocal promotion of each other’s interests, services and activities.

At present, in the Republic of Moldova are registered about 700 companies with Italian capital, having the significant share on the Moldovan market. Already several companies with Italian origins are registered as residents of GIFP. The agreement signed between Giurgiulesti International Free Port SRL and the Italian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce will further enhance the co-operation of the port with the Italian business community.

The Italian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce (CCIMD) is a business led membership body counting 88 members. CCIMD was established in 2007, from the suggestion of the Italian and Moldavian organizations that were already trading in the market. The mission of the Italian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce is to create a structure that will actively support the requests and necessities of the associated organizations, and also to help and sustain all the other external enterprises and organizations interested in the Moldovan market.
