Danube Logistics SRL, a Moldovan limited liability company, is the general investor, owner and operator of Giurgiulesti International Free Port. In December 2004 Danube Logistics signed with the Government of Moldova an investment agreement for the construction of Giurgiulesti International Free Port. Danube Logistics’ shareholders are the Dutch EASEUR Holding BV and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, holding 80% and 20% of Danube Logistics shares respectively.
